Reasons show that Dog Toys Are Important!

First things first, what’s the point to dog toys? Does your pet need them? Yes! Absolutely. All dogs can benefit from the right kind of toys. Dog toys provide both mental and physical stimulation for your pets. In the absence of the kind of experiences they’d gain in the wild, dogs can become a little bored if they don’t have something to do. toys can help your pupper relax. If they’re stressed by new experiences then long-duration chews can keep them quiet

  1. fun

Giving your dog a toy to play with when you out for work is priceless for him. And it will help him to spend a good time until you come back.

2. comfort

If you have a new puppy, a cozy, cuddly, fluffy toy can bring lots of comfort. If you have a chewer, you may want to get one of the flat toys that are not stuffed.

3.       Mental Stimulation

If a dog isn’t mentally stimulated, they will find other activities such as eating your shoes, tearing up your couch, etc., to keep them “engaged.”

So bringing you pet a toy can be  a big help for both of you and it will keep them busy.

4.             Exercise

Even if your dog is a couch potato they need exercise!

If your dog doesn’t like to take a walk, you need to come up with some creative ideas such as:

Playing chase in the house, taking a ball outside and playing fetch, using tug toys (yep! Tugging is exercise!).

5. Something Appropriate to Chew On

You don’t want your shoes or your couch to be shredded.

Dogs have a natural instinct to chew, meaning they need toys that are appropriate for them to chew on.

Fixing the problem is easy; it’s all about making dropping toys a stress-free interaction. Give your dog a toy, and then offer them another toy from behind your back and teach them to “take it”. When they engage with the new toy, say “drop it” and give them a treat. This rewards your dog for engaging with the new toy, and helps them associate the phrase “drop it” with a reward, and they’ll begin to see you as the treat-giver and the bringer of exciting new toys!
